Cold Fridge!

We needed a colder fridge that fit our opening at a reasonable price. This unit accomplished those requirements. We had to purchase a unit that had a water and ice option even though we will not use water hookup. The shelving is adjustable, reasonably solid. Bins and freezer top drawer seem a little flimsy but all fridges are similar. The left door of our French door model requires a bit more effort to close than we would expect. The fridge is quiet. It is easy to adjust temperatures. We hope we can get a longer life than our previous LG model which never was cold enough. LG is just junk.

Poor Touch pad.

We have had the range for about 5 weeks. The touch pad on the range is very hard to press and the up and down arrows are terrible to try to operate. We put in a service call and had the panel replaced but it has the same issue. I wouldn't recommend buying the Maytag range with the controls on the front of the top.

We really like the French Doors, the adjustable shelves and the extra room available in the fridge. The bottom freezer is easily accessible and the ice maker works very well. We are very happy with the refrigerator and wish that we had made the purchase much earlier.

Great fridge, minor ice maker noise ™™™™ (4/5) I had my first Maytag for 26 years, and it was finally time to replace it. We had to downsize from our old fridge to fit this space, and it's worked out great ™" fits perfectly and does everything we need. I've had this fridge for about three weeks now and overall I'm really happy with it. The only downside is the ice maker ™" it's a bit loud when it's running, and you can hear the water line filling slightly more than I expected. That said, it makes ice cubes fast, so the noise trade-off is worth it for how quickly it keeps up. Aside from that one thing, this fridge has been great. Would recommend!

Compared to my 2015 19.7 Maytag, which is still in use The owners manual is junk. My old Maytag was very well written. The new fridge is noisy much of the time, haven™™t figured out how to address that issue. The crisper drawers should come out in father, without falling out, and the bottom drawer should come out father as well. The old fridge had a better bottom drawer I do like the adjustable shelves, the bigger storage in the doors I bought this for the extra space, and Maytag name, because of the 10 yr warranty and I really liked my old one

Great fridge with odd water dispenser

Like the fridge a lot. Has great lighting and very adjustable shelving. It™™s just odd how the water dispenser is. We had a Samsung previously with a one hand fill on the outside and that was super easy and convenient. This one seems like they designed the entire product then at the last minute realized they forgot to add a dispenser. Filter is easy to change so that™™s a plus. Just takes 2 hands to fill anything and it™™s in an odd location. Water reservoir in back is also a bit odd being exposed tubing tied up in a coil. Anyway it™™s a good fridge and I™™d get again and recommend.

Absolutely horrible experience, will never be ordering directly through Maytag again! It took 4 attempted deliveries and weeks of delays to deliver a fridge. When I called customer service every time after a failed delivery they were not helpful or sympathetic. Fridge nice that arrived just took forever.

I bought this almost 2 months ago and am really happy with it for the most part. I do find that the vegetable drawers are a little flimsy though. They do not open or close smoothly and the water dispenser being on the left side of the fridge means you have to open both doors to access it. I am really happy with the temperature gauges and the ice cube bin in the freezer works great.

I bought this a month ago. I love the way the freezer is set up. I don™™t like the produce crispers. They are smaller than the ones that were in the refrigerator that I replaced. They also slide out too easily. I™™m afraid I™™m going to break the tops where they sit on the glides.

At this price point I feel like I bought a real nice product. The features are easy to interact with and the lighting is great. The stainless steel handles are nice too, easy to clean. As I just bought it, I can't speak to its dependability, but Maytag's have a reputation for good design/build quality, fingers crossed. It does what it's supposed to and and looks good doing it. The salesman was very helpful and the delivery/set-up guys were great too.

We bought this model without water dispenser in 2016. It was working great and running stong until a power surge fried it. We were so please that we got this one. Having cold water is a nice perk but the placement of the water dispenser is not optimal as it is akward to access and you loose alot of cold air from opening the door. Not a deal breaker but something to rewiew in the next model

I had an older version of this fridge under the Amana brand. Could not see it in any showrooms. It™™s all online and I have very limited options w size restrictions. The selves and food pocket were much nicer in the older amana fridge. Shelves slid out making it easy to see things in back of shelves and door pockets had rubber liners that you could pop out to wash. More importantly they minimized the sound. Everytime I close the doors all the bottles rattle around making it so noisy. Also would like to remove the GIANT Maytag logo. Otherwise fridge is cold and icemaker works well. I™™ve only had it a week.

The fridge is spacious, works well for containing my items. Both vegetable keepers, as well as the deli drawer are flimsy and I need to be careful sliding them in and out. That being said they handle the humidity well. The condenser on the fridge is loud and annoying as it always runs at lunch time. The non fingerprint envelope is a plus.

Perfect for my needs

This product was delivered a month ago and was in excellent condition. I purchased the setup option and the delivery people were very careful in the unpacking and setting it in place. They did not connect the water supply as I have an inline ceramic filter and thy would only connect to a shutoff valve. That was not a problem for me. The unit is operating perfectly for the month that I've had it. It is quieter than my previous fridge, but not as quiet as some others. I will gladly trade some quiet for a compressor that has a 10 year warranty. I lost a fridge and freezer of food when my previous unit's compressor failed while I was on vacation.

We had to call a repairman because the computer quit and everything in the freezer melted. We were told to unplug it and let it sit for a few minutes and plug it back in. We did that and it has worked fine since but we are afraid to trust it completely.

Have owned this refrigerator for a little over one year. So far have had 3 service calls under warranty, two for replacing the damper and one for an extremely loud vibration. The vibration returned within a few days of the warranty expiring and whirlpool/Maytag refused to do anything other than trying to sell an extended warranty. Based on this experience, I highly recommend going with a different manufacturer.

I have had the fridge for a few weeks now. For the most part this is a really nice refrigerator that seems well built. The big issue is how loud it is. It runs over 53 decibels when running and gets pretty annoying.

Got this fridge and after they delivered-it we pushed-it inn its place after waiting so that we could plus-it we realise that 1 door was lower about 1/2' so we call were we bought it and they said we add to call Maytag and its going to be 1 year soon and still not fixed. Also it makes weird noises and the buttons so that the lights go on when you open pop out some times . We're not happy and when we call for help you wait like 1h plus on the phone . And we keep running around and around POOR SERVICE!!

I purchased these appliances around 6 weeks ago and I am very unhappy with water dispensing from inside the refrigerator. There is no place to sit the cup you have to hold the cup with one hand hand and push the water dispenser button with the other, very bad setup, we wanted to return it for a refrigerator with water dispenser on the outside but Menards would not allow us to do that and neither would Maytag customer service. I™™m hoping that whoever reads this review will help me get my refrigerator exchanged for the one I want.

My old fridge was 20 years old and thought maybe I should replace it. Well I did and am NOT real happy with the new one. I had a rattle in it from the time it was plugged in. Tried everything to get it to stop. Finally called for repair( under warranty). Repair man could not get it to stop so he ordered new parts. Fan, fan motor, bracket to hold it etc. Replaced them and it made more noise than the first ones. So he said he needed a shim and I got him a 50cent shim from Home Depot. Noise stopped. Really, a brand new fridge and has to be shimmed in the freezer to stop rattle. Also this was the only fridge available at the store I purchased it from and had to take the floor model to get one.

We have had our refrigerator for about 6 weeks. We like the stainless steal look. We like the spacious, easy access meat & cheese compartment. It is nice to have a water dispenser, though it drips at times and can make strange noises when using. It also is very slow, causing us to leave the door open awhile as we are filling our water glass/pitcher, etc. The fruit & veggie compartments do not open easily and are smaller than we hoped. Door compartments are also smaller than desired, but like the butter compartment size. The freezer door doesn™™t open smoothly.
