Bought this for the air fryer option so i got rid of my other air fryer and this one does not work. Food never gets crispy even after leaving in3 times as long. 30 minutes for tater tots. The microwave is good and looks nice but I wouldnt have spent the extra money for the air fryer combo if I had known.

WARNING do not buy this microwave. I purchased it two years ago and the circuit board went out. to replace it is $184.95 plus shipping. I would have to install it myself. if you are looking for a microwave that lasts two years and costs $500.00 this is the microwave for you. It is pretty fancy with a lot of bells and whistles. Just use them in its two-year life span. I will be looking to replace with another brand of microwave hopefully I will get more than two years out of the next brand. Wish me luck :

We did not receive an operating manual for this appliance When I contacted LG they were apologetic and said they would send me a manual to be received within 10 days. 3 weeks later the manual arrived and was just printed pages with half upside down and very difficult to read. We feel that we cant use our new microwave/convection appliance to it fullest potential not knowing how each feature operates.

I really like this microwave Ive had similar Kitchen-Aid and Samsungs and this is my favorite of the 3. The microwave works well with the ThinQ app. I definitely think the convection bake option isnt as strong as my LG oven but thats not a deal breaker. One thing to note is that this microwave doesnt have a fancy magnetron if you dont know what it is then it wont bother you. Dont buy this for the Airfry mode its quite limited. It has more features than Ill ever use but its perfect for the basics too Also I was worried the outside window would be difficult to keep clean but I havent had any issues.

This is one of the best microwaves Ive ever owned. It does a great job reheating meals and doesnt leave you with molten lava and freezing cold spots in your dishes. The built in features for reheating and cooking are great. Ive used the convection oven feature a few times and do like it although its slower than my actual oven. Its nice around holidays when I need an extra oven. The reason I took a star off is for the air fry function. The product description does not make it clear that you can only use the 9 presets for air fry. There are no options for manual air fry I dont have kids so I dont need to air fry chicken nuggets and fries. I thought I was getting a true air fryer so I am disappointed and have never used the feature because of this.

Reliability issues with LG products now.

We bought this from Best Buy in July and had it installed in August. First week of September the internal fan would not shut off. Called LG for warranty repair. Took a week to get an appointment. Repair guy showed up looked at it for about a minute and said he needed to order a new thermostat. Took a week and a half for the part to arrive and schedule a new appointment. Repair guy showed up again. They said its not the thermostat so they replaced the door switch. Still not working so they said they will order an new PC board. Waiting for the part to arrive and yet another repair appointment. At this point the new microwave has been broken longer than its worked. Called LG about a replacement microwave and they said the repair guy needs to come out first and its up to them to determine if its fixable first. Our LG refrigerator we bought in 2020 has had 3 in-door icemakers in it so far. Now the craft icemaker broke last week.

Good product and just used it a few times so far. My biggest complaint is that for the airframe options you cant just make a time you can only select from a small list of already pre-programmed food options. Plus the service size is only one or two servings. I wish it had more options and because its a large microwave so seems like a bit of a waste of space when you can only air fry two potions. Outside of that u love how quick it is to microwave and the 5 fan levels really help reduce cooking smells.

You dont know the temperature have preset settings Customer service is of no help they tell you to read the manual or read on line. Love the oven and microwave. Over the range exhaust vent does not work.

I bought this three months ago. Still waiting to get replaced. They call it over the Range but it does not do any good to have it there other then the light. The exhaust fan does not suck up even steam from the range top. Three repair people have been here and because none of them have used the word unrepairable they just said nothing they came to to make it work properly. So we can not get a replacement without that verbiage.

Its amazing Ive used conv/bake to cook bacon air fry for chicken proof for cinnamon rolls and of course auto defrost and sensor reheat. I was concerned there would be grease everywhere on the inside when I cooked bacon. Not the casea quick wipe and the few splatters were gone Im creating my meal plans around what I can prepare in the microwave. Worst microwave

The microwave looks great on the outside and I was excited to use it especially since its not just a microwave but also a convection oven and an air fryer. However when I tried to use as an Air Fryer I was unpleasantly surprised to find that it doesnt work as it should. The worst part is that Ive had the product since December and since April Ive been trying to return it but they only want to repair it. This means I have to keep paying for something that doesnt work properly and now ir will be a repaired product? I will never buy LG again nor will I recommend it.

Over the Stove microwave

I love the Over the Stove feature no more counter space being used.. I will have to say at 950 watts its not as powerful as my counter top microwave was at 1200 watts. It takes a little longer to warm things up. Still getting used to it. Maybe LG can add more cooking program info for other dishes in a booklet or online.. Like warming rice.

It is a rather ingenious machine though it takes some getting used to using the programs for cooking if you are used to hitting microwave and then the number of seconds. The air fryer seems to take twice as long as the programmable features suggest but the food came out fine. All in all its a small pleasure.

Cheap stainless steel and hard to keep clean.

I purchased from Spencers Appliance in Phoenix Az approx a month ago. The stainless steel is cheap and very hard to keep finger prints off. I have been cleaning the burners with every use with Weimar Glass coop top cleaner. I different options on the microwave to nice. Oven works great.

It is definitely an impressive piece of equipment and engineering. A little complicated and it takes some getting used to. But it is powerful beautifully designed and does a good job. Am having a little trouble mastering the air fry and preheat function but its probably me. Like my old over-the-range models the keypad is faint and hard to read in low light or with old eyeballs.

This product does not allow you to reset any type of temp or time on the air fryer functionality so all you eat is chicken nuggets mozzarella sticks etc. its not worth the money

Nice under the cabinet over the range unit. Would be a 5 star if control panel was backlit. Imposible to see the press pads at night.

I have been using my microwave for about a month. From start to finish this is a wonderful product. Ease of installation to ease of use I have no complaints. Even the sound to let you know its finished cooking is pleasant to hear. It plays a little tune instead of an annoying ding lol.

I am not very happy with my new microwave. The door is too large. all of the selections and numbers are down at the bottom and they cannot be read in the dark. Unless there is daylight or a lot of lights on in the kitchen you cannot see the numbers at all. The instruction booklet does not go with the microwave like it should there were some things I tried and it wouldnt work. I finally called LG 800 phone number and they helped me with it. they also agreed the booklet did not always work right with the microwave.
